Wonderful host!
We stayed 2 weeks. Great location. Well stocked. Looks just like the pictures. But the best part of the stay was Nairobi. She was incredibly responsive without being intrusive. Will definitely come back if we need a place in Oakland.

3 days in Piedmont
My husband and I live in Calgary, AB. We have three adult sons living in the Oakland area.
Six weeks ago I had foot surgery at an Alta Bates/Summit facility in Oakland. I returned this week for a follow up with the doctor who did the surgery.
We chose to stay at this property because of its location. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived to find how spacious the rental is and how generally quiet it was while we were there even though it is in a busy neighborhood.
Most reviewers speak of the cleanliness of the rental and I agree with all the high praise. I would add that the space is thoughtfully set up to maximize visitor comfort.
Also as others have remarked, the property host
Nairobi, is great. She was quick to return my messages and to respond to any concerns.
We would certainly book another trip to this property, hopefully for a longer, more leisurely stay.

Great location, good experience
The owner was thoughtful, responsive and helpful. The apartment was comfortable enough, although the bedroom could use a few amenities like a bedside lamp. The neighborhood is great—just a few steps to shops, restaurants, cafes, and more, plus at least two bus lines. Street parking (meters and two-hour limits) was hit or miss; since there seems to be lots of space behind the building, I wish we could’ve parked there. But overall I would recommend this property to visitors.

Perfect pied-à-terre!
I was in town for work, and I decided to give this place a try as a hotel alternative. So glad I did. The flat had everything I needed as a home away from home for the week, and the location was perfect. Lively (with lots of amenities within walking distance) and safe. The cherry on top was Nairobi, who was a perfect host. Responsive without being intrusive. I’ll definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Oakland!

I could not have been happier with this property during my recent stay in Oakland. There are lots of eateries just around the corner, shopping and access to public transport (17 minutes to BART on foot which connects you to the Bay Area airports, SF, Berkeley, etc). Nairobi the host was so kind, helpful and responsive. A wonderful experience!
