« This is such a sweet gem of a cottage tucked into a quiet and safe neighborhood. I was in Newberg for a long weekend class and my husband was with me. This location was only a few minutes drive for me and was a perfect central spot for my husband to drive out for beautiful hikes. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking light meals and the bottle of Pinot Noir from the owner was a lovely touch. We will definitely stay here again if we return. »

« Four of us enjoyed the Blue Cottage in May 2024. The house was well stocked with everything we needed for our stay including a well-functioning gas grill. The views of Mt. Hood and Mt. St. Helens (we think) were spectacular. It should be noted that the driveway is quite steep and can be a little slippery in wet weather, but there are steps in the middle of it to facilitate safe walking. Parking is available on the street as well as in a garage. »

« The house was in a a quiet neighborhood with a lot of privacy. Close to a park, which my doggo was very appreciative of. Parking was ample and outdoor space was beautifully landscaped. The mattresses were INCREDIBLY comfortable. The house was even stocked with toiletry and pantry staples which was a wonderful surprise. « This rental surpassed all our expectations in every way! I’ve stayed in numerous vacation rentals over the years, and this one was by far the best. The setting in the forest and on the Tualatin River was surreal. The attention to detail amazing. The Goat Shed & Zen dens were quite clean & cozy. As 2 older women, we felt very safe staying here. Overall centrally located and a quick drive down the road into West Linn offered several wonderful dining options. Definitely plan on staying here again....

« My two daughters and myself stayed a few nights here and we fell in love with this cottage. It’s beautiful and quiet. The owners have definitely made sure you have everything you need. I also need to say that when we flew in from Utah we had to hang out in town for a couple hours before we could check in, Totally no big deal. « Everything went smoothly from check-in to check-out. Location was great for getting around Portland to explore, but having a quiet place to go back to within walking distance of lots of little shops and dining. House was clean and well-stocked with essentials. Parking was super easy. Although we didn’t need it, they did provide a pack-n-play for travelling with our infant. « It was a solo trip and I enjoyed all the extra touches that the cottage provided. I was able to relax, feel safe and the surrounding area was beautiful. Even the mornings I had to work I didn’t mind because the cottage was so cute. There is hiking close by that the host pointed out that I appreciated. I would definitely like to come back! »
