"The property seems tired, probably very nice 20 years ago. Lumpy mattress, sorta clean room with sticky cleaning residual on floor, rusty fixtures in bathroom, toilet that was very slow to refill with water, a sink that was very slow to drain(leaving residual in sink), curtains with a 8 inch hole torn in it. They advertise a continental breakfast but I would not consider cheese crackers and single serve candy muffins a breakfast. Motel mostly seemed inhabited by construction crews (very friendly) who pay by the week. Not worth staying unless under severe finacilal strain."

"It was a beautiful hotel. Everything was clean & staff was excellent. Only which i could have enjoyed it longer."

"The master and other rooms with two double beds were clean with updated furniture and tastefully styled. The only issue was that the tub in the room with the two double beds had to have something put to jam the stopper from falling in, to prevent the tub from flooding with bathwater as you shower. Also, the property said 100% smoke free zone, as soon as you go through the doors, the smoke scent hits you in the face from patrons smoking at the front of the building. That was a turn off since it raised my allergy. More attention needs to be paid to that if the property is a 100% smoke-free. The scent of the property in the lobby could be more inviting and fresh. It has an old scent that does not fit the property's aesthetic at all. The following morning I ran into the cleaner using Pinesol on the floors which I think left that old mold scent. The property should also look into that. Other than that, it was a good overall stay and I would stay there again if in the area. "Beautiful house right on the river with a lot of character. Perfect views for morning tea/coffee on the screened in patio, or even to watch a storm role in. Even made friends with some of the little lizards that liked to sun themselves on the porch. Host was very responsive to questions and helpful, even came over to help us figure something out so it was nice to meet him and learn a bit of the history of the area. We were the first to rent in the season so there were a few things (light not working for example) but no showstoppers. Area was beautiful - secluded but very close to stores, etc. Would definitely stay again. "

"I can't say enough about this beautiful property. The lobby and common areas are filled with the most gorgeous, unique artwork, the room was spacious, clean and tastefully decorated, and the staff was truly kind. Our.next vacation is already booked here!"

"Yes the property did allow service dog and the room temp was the good thing about the place. Obtaining room cleaning was impossible. Towels/washcloth was not obtainable daily and took two days to get 1set of towels when checked in. The room was dirty - I had to clean shower ,yself. LEFT A DAY EARLY AND WOULD LIKE A REFUND."
