"Overall great experience at Strand Palace. Fabulous location in Covent Garden with access to restaurants, stores, theatre and three different Underground stations each within 1/4. Lovely, clean and updated rooms and lobby. Staff very helpful. Breakfast great and plentiful. I would stay again there for sure. "

"Hotel staff lovely, room and hotel was clean and well stocked. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and plenty of it. Only issue we had was with the bed. It creaked constantly and half way through the night the bottom half of the bed broke away from the frame"

"Really helpful staff supporting check in and helping keep our bags safe in baggage store whilst we explored. They helped direct us to where we needed to walk to and gave additional thoughts-Thanks. "

"We arrived just before 12pm and placed our suitcase into the concierge which is excellent. We did this as we could not check in until 3pm and therefore went sightseeing into London for the day. When we came back at 8.30pm we found our room was still not ready as they had not placed a bed for my daughter in the room which was requested prior. The staff took another 60 mins to put a bed into our room so our daughter couldn't go to bed when she wanted to. The staff apologised but it came across like we were in the wrong in how they spoke. Nothing provided to us to apologise for this inconvenience. In addition our hotel window was broken and the air con didn't really work so the room was very hot. The hotel views are amazing and the location is great for tourists looking to explore London. However the hotel does look tired and does need a revamp. "
