Super Hotel Super accueil Le quartier est ni trop calme ni trop agité (Paddington) Le personel est au petit soin Nous étions dans un appartement qui était pas mal du tout, Il était propre. Petit point négatif il y faisait tout de même un peu froid du fait d'une isolation pas totalement optimisée. Néanmoins vous adorerez cet endroit pour son charme, calme et sa gare qui est seulement à 18min de heathrow airport pour 18pounds !!

hotel de tres grande qualité et tres bien situé, à proximité de la central line (Marble Arch, Oxford, etc.). a quelques minutes à pied de Hide Park. beaucoup de restaurants dans le quartier de l'hotel

Plutôt pas mal pour un hôtel londonien

Les points forts: chambres douillettes, atmosphère agréable, dans un style plus hollandais ou scandinave (parquets en bois blond, murs blancs) que britannique (pas de moquettes ultra épaisses, de rideaux poussiéreux ni de portes coupe-feu à tous les paliers...). Petit déjeuner buffet somptueux (mais horriblement cher). Literie excellente. Les points faibles: mauvaise qualité de la plomberie (pas de siphon donc mauvaise évacuation d'eau); certains meubles commencent à mal viellir faute d'entretien... Mauvais rapport quelité prix en général (comme partout à Londres cela dit...) A recommander tout de même!

A recommander

Pour une fois nous avons voulu essayer un hotel de luxe. Une vrai réussite, rien à redire. Personnel discret et efficace, très attentionné au bien-être de la clientèle. Le prestations sont excellentes. Peut être qu'au niveau du restaurant le menu est un peu juste et manque de fantaisies. Mais c'est 10:10

Une bonne adresse a retenir pour un sejour a Londres

SEJOUR DU 22 MAI AU 24 MAI 2009 - Hotel que je recommande et que je garde dans mon carnet d'adresses pour un prochain sejour. Situé dans une rue calme et de type coloniale et proche d'une station de métro (lancaster - envrion 5 min à pied) et a quelques stations de Piccadilly. Hotel a ambiance zen, personnel très agréable et serviable, le restaurant de l'hotel n'a pas une très grande carte. le seul petit defaut que je retiens : attention aux chambres au 5eme étage... chambres avec vue sur UN MUR à 30 cm de la fenetre. dommage...

Favourite London Hotel

Second stay at the Hempel, and we enjoyed it immensely. Beautiful room, great size, excellent unobtrusive service. And one of the best locations in London. Tucked away but close to great neighborhoods and attractions. Perfect for a weekend break.

A little bit tired

This hotel seems to have faded a bit. Noisy fan, aircon not working and room too hot. Baths that dont empty. Just maintenance and care. Its a 10 minute walk from Paddington station. its is a little too far out of the west end. Overall nice hotel, but there is lots of 5 star competition out there

Great contemporary 5* hotel near paddington

This is the 1st time at this hotel and had a great stay we didn't spend much time here as we were out till late and checked out early our room was lovely but very small our friends also stayed and paid the same rate but had a much nicer bigger room . So if we stayed again would check this out 1st .

パディントン駅からも近く徒歩１０分以内なので、空港へのアクセスも良い。またホテルの部屋も綺麗だが、部屋が小さいかも。

im 5. stock ist die wahrscheinlichkeit groß, ein zimmer mit halb zugemauertem fenster zu bekommen, was für den preis unangemessen ist. auch bei geschlossenem fenster ist die klimaanlage (?) auf dem dach deutlich zu hören; die türen halten nicht viel von den geräuschen auf dem gang ab. knarrende dielen im zimmer findet der eine oder andere ja vielleicht sogar charmant. die innenausstattung in schönem, klaren design - allerdings z.t. so schön, dass sich simple funktionen wie an/aus nur nach einigem rumprobieren oder gar nicht erschließen. alles in allem: stylish, für london vergleichsweise große zimmer in schöner und praktischer lage nähe hyde park und u-bahn.

Stylish, romantic, comfortable, aging a bit

Overall very pleasant, rooms still have a clean, stylish modern feel and decor still feels original yet very comfortable. Made for a delightful romantic getaway. The comp breakfast was just right. I didn't mind the slight war & tear that is starting to show, even found it a touch charming. My partner didn't like that aspect as much. The gardens facing the hotel are a wonderful treat for a London hotel. I rather loved our night there.

The Original London Boutique Hotel

We had a room 204 over looking the Zen Garden. The room itself was very nice and the four floor to ceiling windows gave great light and wonderful views of the garden. However the bathroom tiles could have done with a polish as they had paint on them (Supposed to be 5 star remember - hense fussiness). Breakfast in bed was very nice. Hotel lobby and bar were very nice and the staff were polite and helpful. All in all a plesant stay but will try eleswhere next time we're in London.

Unique hotel

Chic, modern hotel. Ate at the hotel restaurant (No. 53, I think is the name) twice as food was absolutely delicious (beautifully presented as well). Staff very helpful and friendly. Convenient location just few blocks from Hyde Park. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful modern hotel!

We LOVED this hotel. We stayed in two different rooms, as we went out of town during our stay. Both rooms were great - very clean, excellent quality linens, beautiful decor, good natural light. The lobby was beautiful and soothing. The halls were beautifully designed and maintained. Service at the desk, and from cleaning staff was superlative. I thought the quality of the in-hotel downstairs bar food was not very good. But overall, we were extremely happy there. We would definitely go back. Because they have free, building-wide internet, unless you have your laptop, there's no computer to use in the hotel. They will print stuff out for you if you need. But i didn't have my laptop with me, so that was disappointing. Still, i got some time to rest from email!!

Still good but needs attention to detail

I like this hotel having stayed there before-however-on this visit it was clear the rooms are becoming tired and need better maintenance. The tap on my basin had clearly been dripping for hours and the basin was half full as it continued its drip drip drip throughout my stay. The shower suffered similar issues in that although powerful the range of the flow was so broad it resulted in weak pressure on the one area you stand under whilst soaking the bathroom. The bath/shower was not easy to get into-it was very high sided and I feel even as a 30's fit person I really had to concentrate not to fall over getting in and out. Also found the bath to be somewhat dirty & filled with someone else's hair. The bed was very comfortable but again I wouldnt want to be any less mobile as it was flush to the wall not allowing you to do anything but climb on the end of the bed and then up towards the pillow. Too trendy for me i'm afraid-i like to be able to get in and out of the wrong side of my bed!

Great location and even not far from subway(Paddington), lot's of nice restaurants almost nearby. The park in front is dream and served. Attention: the kisch-chair in the room is heavy as a tank! Relation price/quality becomes to be discussed when you consider a price of this level and the breakfast is not included !!!!! Whet would it cost to call it "italian breakfast" included (1 Capuccino+ 1 Brioche) ????? It's surely a way of chasing the clients in places nearby. Not for the money, for the pricipal !

The stay was perfect and the hotel was really nice and the staff was helpfull and friendly. Location was just as I expected it to be; close to the underground and Oxford Street and Hyde Park. Room was clean and big.

Great hotel. But the guest in the room above ours overran her bathtub, and we had water leaking through our bathroom ceiling all night. Eventually fixed, but it made things most unpleasant every time we used our bathroom.
