(We were to be there 5 nights.) There were no closets - just 3 pegs to hang things. No place to put our suitcases, barely space to walk around the bed, the tv was situated that we would have had to turn our heads to watch it. There is no receptionist or reception desk to speak of and no place to sit while awaiting workers to assist. We were scheduled for the Burrow and we knew it might be smallish but we could not imagine how tight the accommodations would be. We cut our losses and stayed at a very comfortable VRBO for the same price. If one were planning to spend a night or two as a business person, it might work. The Drey Hotel was the worst hotel I have stayed in since using Expedia to book my travel. This was my first time traveling outside the country to London, UK, and my experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing. When I arrived, the concierge informed me that the room I booked online was not the room I would be staying in. They said it was only a “category” room and that I would receive something similar. However, the room they gave me was far from what I had booked. I was later told that the room I reserved had been given to someone who arrived earlier than I did. I explained that I had traveled from the United States and that the time difference made my arrival later. They told me that I would receive the correct room the next day and that the manager would upgrade me in the morning. Unfortunately, no one ever came to follow up. When I went to the front desk to speak with the manager, he told me that he would not be changing my room and that the bunk beds I was given would be sufficient. His response was rude and arrogant. To make matters worse, there was no hot water for the remaining two days of my stay. Overall, the experience was a nightmare. I would like to request a refund due to the poor service and unacceptable conditions. Das Hotel The Drey in London ist ein schönes und modernes Hotel. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber; die Zimmer sind zwar etwas klein, aber für einen Städtetrip völlig ausreichend. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Besonders praktisch ist das moderne Schlüsselsystem, bei dem man die Zimmertüren mit dem Handy entriegeln kann.
