The hotel is in the back of the building, and the only entrance is a wooden door! Second, when I entered the room, it is totally different from the website! The room was very small on the second floor and the staircase up to the first and second floors was very steep. The exterior ground floor is a old derelict pub and the hotel entrance is around the corner in Rodney Place. The lady on reception was extremely nice and always had a smile and a greeting for me. I had a single room which was small and the facilities were adequate. Being a budget hotel, it was really good for the price - my room was at the back of the hotel, it was quiet and very comfortable and the room and bedding were clean, and I slept very well. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for budget accommodation close to London. Ho scelto questa struttura per via del pavimento in legno, detesto le consunte moquettes degli Hotel Londinesi, il bagno è moderno e anche gli arredi. La fermata della metro (Elephant & Castle) è a 5 minuti a piedi. A pochi metri dalla struttura c'è anche una fermata del bus, ci passano almeno un paio di linee che vi possono portare agevolmente in centro. Nelle immediate vicinanze c'è un centro commerciale abbastanza malmesso, ho mangiato più volte in un ristorante indiano all'interno, in cui ho mangiato inaspettatamente bene. Nelle immediate vicinanze c'è anche il Coronet, per gli amanti della vita notturna. Il Chek-in è alle 15:00, consiglio di scrivere in anticipo alla struttura per poter lasciare le valigie. Die 'Raucherzone' und die Küche, welche alle Hotelgäste nutzen dürfen, wurden uns gezeigt. Das Zimmer war schön eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Das Full House Hotel ist in einer super Lage. Zu Fuss ist die Elephant & Castle Station ca. 10min entfernt. Von dieser Station aus sind die Sehenswürdigkeiten von London in kurzer zu erreichen. Obwohl das Hotel direkt an einer stark befahrenen Strasse liegt war der Lärm erträglich (ist so üblich in einer Grossstadt). Das Preisleistungsverhältnis stimmt. Most sights at the Southbank are also less than a mile by foot. The room and bathroom are clean; the staff was very nice and helpful, and a small communal kitchen is a plus. It takes only 5 minutes' time to reach the Elephant & Castle metro station. This place is also close to the renowned disco "Ministry of Sound". I particularly like the provision of a pantry where I can make toast, re-heat the food using the microwave and store the food in the fridge. The only issue that irritates me was the instability of the wi-fi connection. I had relatively high hopes for this hotel for my one night's stay in Elephant & Castle. The whole experience was pretty poor from start to finish. The hotel is above a pub which is currently being rennovated. I was not made aware that there was any building work prior to my stay. The room I stayed in (no 7) was directly above the buidling work and I could hear word for word (as well as the building work itself) going on when I arrived up until I left the room for the evening around 10pm. The room itself wasnt very clean (many hairs on the bed downstairs) and the finish was shabby. We had one small towel between two of us and there was no duvet or pillow on the bed downstairs (both things were rectified when I made a call to a member of staff on her mobile.. there is no reception cover as such). There was a very strong, unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom which may have been something to do with the building work. The doors had a strange chinese elecric locking system which was tricky to use and didn't fill me with much confidence. Probably the worst part of the stay was the fact that the soundproofing was non-existent and we could hear conversations from many rooms and in the hallway outside. Der Eingang in versteckt und besteht aus einer schlichten Holztür mit einem Fresszettel "Check-in after 15:00" und einer Klingel. Die Zimmer sind sauber, aber auch extrem ringhörig (Bar im Erdgeschoss, Hauptverkehrsachse vor der Haustür, Grossbaustelle One The Elephant nebenan). Das Personal ist - sofern man es zu Gesicht bekommt - freundlich, spricht aber nur schlecht Englisch.
