"For the very reasonable price, the cottage feel of this room at the Oak Hill Inn was definitely a good value. Because of a mix-up with another lodging, this was available just 2 days out from our trip. It was indeed a short walk to the Julian Main Street. It has everything one needs, with thoughtful accessories. The kitchenette was very serviceable for our 3 night stay. The included internet was strong. Somethings to keep in mind though if booking this #2 unit at the inn: - It has a couple of steep flights of narrow concrete stairs to negotiate from the street to the room, so it is not for anyone that has mobility issues, Heavy luggage would be an issue. - It is next to the mountain Highway 78, so there is some traffic noise, but inside the room, it isn't obtrusive. The nights are very quiet. It is located on a seldom used spur street, and the parking is on the street. - This lodging is an Air B&B; we found that that app didn't working properly with our Expedia booking, so we had to call the hosts directly for the room access code. If those aren't issues for you, then I highly recommend this lodging."
