Decent room on the 12th floor of a tall building. It's a decent value for the money. The worst problem was the shower had no water pressure, so I had to shower with only drops of water, which was not a good experience. I really like the area around the hotel. Right next to a night market with lots of delicious food nearby. This hotel is close to two of my favorite 卤肉饭 (lu rou fan) restaurants in Taipei. The area is not glamorous Taipei, but is very authentic. If they fix the water pressure in the shower, I would stay here again. But just for this reason, because of the lack of water pressure in the shower, I would not stay here if I visit Taipei. I hope they fix this.

The property itself was well kept and spotless — our room was tidy, fresh, and exceptionally clean. Not responsive at all on Expedia. There was no shuttle from the airport option (one of our questions that were never answered by the hotel) and the local neighborhood shuttle didn’t run frequently enough for use. Even though we checked in pretty late, at about 2 AM, the housekeeping wasn’t done as there was no hand soap in the room and we found a stack of hair from previous occupants in the bathroom. However, the private onsen in the room was great and the location was ideal for exploring the Beitou area.
