I did not have breakfast at the lodge.

Everytging was perfect

Staff was welcoming, room was well presented with comfortable bed, available coffee maker, and amenities. Balcony was cozy and comfortable.

We were pretty put off by our room not being ready upon arrival, which was actually after check-in time. The staff was not apologetic and we got the feeling that this is pretty typical for this location. They were also very understaffed. Towels were never stocked in the pool area and we stood at the counter on two separate occasions for more than 20 minutes just to ask for towels. Again, staff wasn't apologetic at all. The hotel itself is very nice and very clean. The breakfast and dining was one of the best we have experienced and the staff in the kitchen were so nice.

The comparison between this motel and the Best Western a mile further, which I normally stay on business is this has a restaurant on site. Breakfast was available for a fee, where as BW is included. The pool/hot tub was available from 9AM to 10pm making it diificult to use in the morning, if you have to be at a meeting in the morning. BW pool hours are better. Both have fitness areas. There is a small airport next to this motel, which was a little noisy in the early evening but stopped before bedtime. Thursday was a great night for me, as they have music in the lounge!
