"This property was charming and quaint. For us two sisters wanting two separate beds, only the 3rd level attic type room was available, which entailed walking up 2 sets of stairs and the last one pretty steep. This was not quite relayed to us when booking. The property has two big pluses: it is only a quick walk to the Main street with lots of nice restaurants and shops AND only 10 minutes to the majestic Luray Caverns. Not sure if because of the time of year, but the patio was not cleaned...

"The grounds were not well-maintained. Grass was tall, in need of cutting, two dead decorative shrubs at the entrance of the door, large tree limbs on the roof and on the property grounds, would’ve liked to have enjoyed the gazebo, but the path was overgrown, needed mulching, gazebo not clean to sit in. "Rustic lodge in a beautiful rural location. Room was basic but okay for one night. Bar and restaurant staff were great, enjoyed chatting to them - really added to the visit. Lovely gift shop. Ate in restaurant for evening meal and breakfast and enjoyed food on both occasions. Rooms could do with a refresh but overall a good stay."
