« We were looking forward to our stay in grand bend for over a month. The one word I would use for my stay is unprofessional. -Check in process is walking into a bar and asking for my room key. The bartender has to go and ask for the owner in the back.- The room was fine other than the bathroom. « All good but no kitchen facilities except a small fridge(was given a microwave when asked). Above a Crabby Joe's so can get loud at night. Have to pay for parking. Nice bathroom and bed, and seating area on the deck. Walking distance to beach. »

« Pro: Parking was in the Crabby Joes lot, easily accessible to room. Cons: parking is tight. Large neon sign directly shining in room 24/7 and the blind on the door leaves a 2 foot gap. Neighbours beside us were smoking on the patio blowing directly in our window. Back exit was propped open with a pan and shoes everywhere on the staircase. Door on main street was the only one locked. Our room was meh. Bed was extremely hard and pillows were flat. There was garbage in the fridge and freezer....

« This establishment should not be rated more than 1 star. I have been in 2 star hotels that are way better than that. For the price I paid, it is definitely not worth it. For a few dollars more, you could get a 4 star hotel. I would not price this hotel more than $100. They overcharge because Grand Bend is a hip place to go. »

« Great location on the main strip over a good restaurant/ bar. I did find the big lit sign for the Colonial Hotel outside my window flickered through at night. It was bothersome. »
