"Years ago I was pretty disappointed by a Red Roof Inn, but based on reviews & ratings on this one, it seemed worth trying. I was pleasantly surprised. I'm driving across the country, so just looking for a clean, comfortable room. Not worried about amenities. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the bathroom/shower were also clean. There is nothing fancy here, but for a clean room if you need it for a night, this worked quite well and was a bargain for the price."

"Pass on No'ce. Service was lacking. Had most of my meal wh no drink. Waited 17 minutes before anyone came to greet us. "

"This cabin has always been clean & has all the necessities needed when we have stayed here. Close enough to Madison, IN but in a quiet area for privacy. We definitely would stay here again. "

"The hotel had a luxurious feel to it and everything was very clean! Food at The Stadium was delicious, our beds were comfortable, and the bathroom was quite spacious with a jet tub and a shower both. My only areas for improvement would be to offer a more affordable restaurant onsite--"19" looked great but was out of our price range-- and to have more consistent bar/food staff at the pool during the weekdays. Our biggest deterrent was the smoke in the casino. Previously, we have been to casinos that had a designated smoking area, which we feel would have been nice here. "

"This classic hotel, in near-constant service since the 19th Century, is a pleasant place to rest after a busy day. It is near the riverfront walk, and the town of Rising Sun is a calm place to spend some time. Just outside of town is a wolf refuge that is well worth the time to visit, and the drive along the river from and to the Interstate is beautiful. When the owner saw that we were all one family, she moved us from our two rooms into a three-room suite at no additional charge, which we greatly appreciated."
