« This turned out to be a great place to stay with our three generations of family. Lots of bed space, adequate bathrooms, nicely furnished. There was a hiccup with the air conditioning failing, but the host, Camien, was quick to respond with what resources could be mustered on a holiday weekend, and was quick to offer a partial refund in keeping with the problem. « I really enjoyed this house and would consider it again. It's super close to the grocery and to the coffee depot - and Maple Canyon, which is why we were in the area. The kitchen was well enough equipped that we were able to cook 3 meals there without any issues. The shower was nice and hot too. You will get some noise from the local HS football game, but it didn't bother us at all. One thing to keep in mind - if you have someone in your group allergic to perfume - this is not the right house...

« This is a very cool historic house. However, I did drive past it as I was looking for a white house. Appears that it is in the process of being sandblasted for a new paint job. everything looks clean and location was good … I did overlook the fact that it did not have a TV. That was my bad….. « As expected, the tent was on a cool lake in a very remote spot. Unfortunately, the tent was definitely not the one pictured in the listing. The listing showed a round tent, and this one was a typical “house” style. It is quite windy on the lake, so be prepared to keep the tent closed up. The lake itself is hard to use, but it was a beautiful sunset.
