« This place was exactly as described. The host was fantastic, easy to communicate with. It is in a very quiet peaceful area, seeing deer and turkeys each day. « 13 of us, aged 1 to 84, enjoyed this year’s family Girls’ Weekend at the Jarvis Homestead. Lots of room to gather, chat, eat, and play. Bedrooms aplenty—all with comfy beds. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking all weekend (including salt & pepper). The hot tub was a hit. Convenient location for walking and exploring downtown. Thank you for everything. « We selected the Woodlawn Retreat for a location close to Mt Desert Island, Bar Harbor & Acadia NP, off the island but near enough to be in the park or BH in 20 minutes. We needed a house for 4. This single floor home has only a few steps to enter. The great room is huge with a large screen TV. Unfortunately our stay had to be cancelled at the last minute due to a family medical emergency that did not meet the insurance standards for reimbursement. Essentially the insurance is a joke and a waste of money as the reimbursable standards are unrealistic in most cancel scenarios. »

« This was our third year renting in Ellsworth for a basketball tournament and the 2nd one with Cale. Three families enjoyed this wonderful house. The teenagers enjoyed their own area that included a bathroom and living room. There was also plenty of room for all of us to gather in the main living room and t the dining room.
