« We were delighted at finding it was a donkey rescue property, with 5 resident donkeys and a very old horse. Magnificent views across the vineyards and forest remnants, the tiny but very comfortable "caravan on wheels" was ample for our needs - small refrigerator, sink, kettle, toilet, shower, rear deck overlooking the valley. « We thoroughly enjoyed our luxury stay at the lodge over a two night stay. The cottage has all the necessities to stay in and enjoy a comfortable sleep in comfy beds and cosy night in to watch a movie. We loved the breakfast provisions and enjoyed exploring the property on our walks in the afternoon. Great location and only 15 minutes away from main attactions in nearby suburbs. « Nice property, lovely little cottage. Nice extras such as the robes, appreciated as it was cold weather. Fire was great and had back up heating with the split system. The property and cottage are amazing, with the manicured grounds and animals to feed and a very gracious host, who supplied a full breakfast for everyday of our stay and even took us on a buggy ride around the grounds, that our son enjoyed greatly. « We planned a long weekend away with 2 other couples (all late 50’s) and required accommodation suitable. We were all extremely happy with Cumquat Cottage, it was comfortable, clean, adequately catered for three couples and great location. We attended a concert at Rochford Winery, had an afternoon at 4pillars Gin distillery and finished with Breakfast in the Main Street, whilst the other times enjoyed the ambiance of the cottage in Autumn. « Excellent property, cosy, clean, lovely amenities, very well equipped, furnished and maintained. So many things to love, had everything we were looking for, cooking equipment, heaters, comfy beds, 2 bathrooms, tourist info, lovely magazines, coffee table books , games and even a shopping bag and umbrella. « We booked the property for a weekend to celebrate a 30th. Only good things to say about this property and the host, Frank. Everything as pictured in the listing. The property has some of the most incredible views I’ve seen. Despite its location, you really feel secluded. The entertainment room was the perfect space for everyone to be together and do what they wanted and it was so spacious. The pond is a natural pool which was amazing! Host was very responsive and kind. »

« Considerate stay, we were welcomed by clean and furnished stay with everything u need - clean sheets, clean toilet, the cottages provided extra pillows for my pregnant wife which I’m really pleased. My young children had so much fun with cockatoo and kangeroo spotting. We could hang out around the cottage with everything in one spot, cooking, juices, condiments provided when we forget ours.
