It was spotless and well equipped with lots of utensils, towels, beach chairs and the beds were so comfortable. The home has plenty of room.The location was in walking distance to restaurants and shops. We were on a hiking challenge and what a way to end a busy day but to sit on the front deck and watch the most beautiful sunset. Definitely I would recommend this property for people visiting Cabot trail as this property is very big and spacious filled with all the necessary amenities to have a comfortable stay. The host is such a lovely person as they welcomed us with a homemade sweet and had a nice note to learn about the property and areas to visit in cape breton. I would recommend you to buy your own groceries and cook in the house as the food scene is not so great in that area. Instead of wasting money on eating something which is not worth, it’s way better to cook your own meal and have fun enjoying your vacation. There is restaurants and small shops within walking distance as well as a seating area down by the water that has benches that you can sit and watch the sunset. There were eight of us that stayed in this home and we were all very comfortable in the home. All the beds were extremely comfortable. Lots of seating in the living room for the eight of us. The kitchen was well stocked. There was full bathroom upstairs and downstairs. Close to great hiking trails. We really enjoyed our stay here.
