"If you need a cute little place to stay while you are working nearby, driving on through on an adventure or a quiet get away from the city this is it. Walkable to the cute town of Campbellford, a 3km walk to the cool suspension bridge and while on route you can stop at the giant toonie. I use it for work fairly often and it's clean, quiet and peaceful."

"My wife, our dog and I had an excellent stay at the Checkerboard guest house in Cobourg. The beds were comfortable, the house was clean and as advertised, and was only about 2km from downtown. Our host, Tish, was easily available and responsive to our requests. We needed a pet friendly place, and this fit the bill perfectly!"
