"It was such a lovely, peaceful and nature filled setting from listening to the birds with a coffee to kayaking the bay!Conveniences within a 5 minute drive and fabulous wineries within 15 minutes!Our accommodations were very comfortable and clean!! Our host Kim was so generous with information and recommendations that gave us such memorable experiences ! Can’t wait to return!"

The staff were the most helpful in carrying our luggage to our room. I had my husband who is handicapped and our service dog. In the morning they took our luggage from our room and put it all in our car.The nicest, most helpful owners we have met on all of our travels.I tried to tip them for their extra service and they would not accept it. Outstanding, family owners.

We saw one other motel while in Peterborough, and it was an absolute dump in comparison to the Blue Jay. The Blue Jay's rooms are nice and clean, and our room had a new air conditioner that cooled down the room in no time. For the price, and considering that it is a motel, the Blue Jay is a good option. We found the staff to be excellent: very kind and helpful people.
