« The room is standard. The air conditioning was great. The bed was comfy , i do wish i would have brought my body pillow however. The pillows were ok but i have back problems and should have brought my own. The water stayed hot with no interruption and the shower head was good. « Great for 2 friends to get out in the country for fishing. Beds are clean and comfortable, and it even had Wi-Fi! Which was unexpected. Great little fire pit to sit around and watch the fireflies. Parking is a small challenge, we found it best to back up down the driveway and park halfway off the driveway to leave room has requested by the owner. »

« Overall the property was exactly as advertised. The cottage was clean and roomy enough for 3. The beds were comfortable. The kitchen area could use some better lighting. The back deck looked pretty new but there was no seating on it. One important thing to know is there are no restaurants in the area open on Monday night which is the one night we stayed! We had to drive 15-20 minutes into Newland to find food. The location was good for access to Linville Falls. »

"Visiblement ancien Motel 6 devenu Sleep Inn depuis peu. Hôtel propre, check in avec Steve qui a parlé lentement pour que l'on comprenne 👍. Pas très moderne mais il y a tout ce qu'il faut, laundry et chariot à bagages très pratique. Il y a une armoire dans la chambre, ce qui peut être un plus si vous restez plusieurs jours, par contre la salle de bain est un peu petite si vous êtes quatre, mais à deux c'est suffisant. Petit déjeuner avec un bon jus d'orange pur jus, mais ni yaourts, ni fruits et gauffre sans goût. Le salé était complet. Pour un nuit c'est bien pour le prix 👍."

A wonderful discovery
"This is one of the most charming inns! Yes, it's a bit old and the room a little small, but it's clean and super bright. The bed was incredibly comfortable and we slept like babies being able to open the windows instead of having to endure the noise of the air conditioner like in all places. The front desk staff was very nice and called within a few hours of our arrival to make sure we liked our room and were comfortable. We will absolutely return here! We also fell in love with this charming town, which we didn't know at all! It's pleasant to walk around and there are many restaurants and small shops. We were on our motorcycles and the hotel was within walking distance of everything. We highly recommend it to anyone!"
