We asked to book our meal for supper as we were going to a show just across from hotel , as the show starts at 7.30 , we needed to book a meal a bit earlier , the receptionist said we can’t serve meals till 7.30 as there is a wedding in process. She said she will ask the chef but he said no . Even a sandwich would b better than nothing , but no . It has a sense of opulence about it with wide staircases, high ceilings and stained glass windows, however there are also signs of aging, i.e. worn carpets, old windows. I think it adds to the charm. The breakfast staff were very attentive and pleasant. Breakfast was typical fare, with adequate choices available. My room was well appointed and the bed comfortable.
