"Beautiful views of Kootenay Lake! The house was very comfortable for two couples who loved to kayak, swim and hike. The garden was full of plants and flowers. The yard lead to a small beach which was perfect for launching our kayaks. The kitchen was setup well and we cooked most of our meals at the VRBO. Janice was easy to communicate with and she made sure we were familiar with the house, yard and the surrounding areas. Highly recommended!"

"What a beautiful little gem! Very quaint historical manor with lots of history. Rebecca the Innkeeper was so sweet. She made the stay that much more incredible. She is very kind, helpful and an amazing chef. Her breakfasts were a great way to start the day. She made us feel so at home. Will definitely return next yr. "Wonderful stay. The check-in and checkout were seamless. The cabin was well built and furnished. We found that all the amenities we needed were available. Absolutely loved the abundance of appliances especially the washer and drier as well as the barbecue. The streaming services access was also quite convenient. The location was central to a many tourist activities without feeling too touristy. It was the first time in a while we were able to enjoy the silence of the wilderness. Highly recommend."
