The house was clean, comfortable, spacious and well-appointed. It rained most of the weekend - keeping us all inside. But there was plenty of room for eight adults and one child. From the game room, to bar, to kitchen - everything was well apportioned for entertaining every age group. "The Homestead had everything we needed for our 2 families with kids and a Grandmom for a weekend retreat. The host provided clear and helpful communication and made sure we had everything we needed upon arrival and during our stay. This home was extremely comfortable, with beautiful wood burning fireplaces to keep things cozy (and even make s'mores) to an outdoor firepit and deck. "Great location, about a 7 minute walk to the swimming pool and playground. Stayed during a heat wave and the upstairs did stay a little warm at night. We enjoyed the spacious lower level with two queen beds and two sleeper sofas. Became a favorite hang out space. Sorry there were no outside chairs to sit on the patio. The townhouse is light and airy with a nice sized deck overlooking the woods. Highly recommend."

"Our family of 21 enjoyed the pool, spa and theatre room and game rooms. We had plenty of space for everyone. The 2 kitchens were great. The dining timber table was beautiful. We celebrated our 50th anniversary and had a great meal catered by Oakhurst Grille at this house. Their food was great! The host was easy to contact and talk through some details."
