Casa Panama Hotel has an excellent location in Casco Viejo, and the staff kindly held our luggage. However, the rooms are small, and the hotel shares an elevator with the restaurant upstairs. Overall, it was an okay stay for one night, with the location being the main highlight. The pool is on the roof in the middle of the restaurant. Wi-fi was very spotty.

Layout of room was a bit odd. You walk in and there's a desk and chair. There's also a big sitting chair. Then is the bathroom and closet followed by "the bedroom". Bed, nightstands and TV. Nowhere to sit! Lighting in rooms was pretty bad. Multiple lamps and switches. It was like a hunt to find out what switch went to what fixture. Bed was hard - thats a personal preference. Balcony was nice. Lobby is nice with nice cultural displays. Entrance to the hotel was a little hard to find at first. They are down the block from another hotel (with a similar name) and restaurant. They also have multiple doors but most are locked. Breakfast was very extensive and nice but they didn't have a simple to go cup to take coffee with you.
