Great hotel in Avalon! Very nice rooms, excellent location, clean, and had everything we needed for a wonderful birthday weekend with the family. A few feet walk to the beach, the Bluewater Restaurant on the beach and other great restaurants. 10-15 minutes walk from the Catalina Ferry Port. Staff was wonderful! Shops all around as well. Thank you for my birthday chocolate gift!

I had a great stay at the Atwater Hotel. The staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout my visit. My room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, which made it easy to settle in and enjoy my stay. The location is also a huge plus—very central and convenient, with easy access to everything I wanted to do in the area. Overall, I had a really positive experience and would definitely recommend the Atwater Hotel to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable, and well-located place to stay.

The Atwater has a good location, right in the center of town. Walking distance to most restaurants and shops. The beds were comfortable, but the rooms are very small. I feel that the hotel is over-priced, but so are many others in Catalina.

The hotel is very nice and well maintained. My only comments (not complaints) are that we couldn't get our safe open, but the staff (Hector) was very helpful solving the problem; and I noticed the carpet needs cleaning in a few areas. The hotel and bistro staff are very friendly and helpful! The room was clean and the A/C worked great (which is needed in this heatwave!). We were in walking distance of everything; and we absolutely loved the island. . . lots of great restaurants and shops. We'll be back!!

Staff were all very nice, helpful, informative, personable and kind. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Rugs on stairs and hallways were very dirty. They needed a good cleaning. Being able to store our luggage was a great amenity. Made it so much easier. Felt one coffee or tea for two guests was pretty cheap…should at least have one for each guest booked each day they have a reservation.
