Wasn't great! They spent more on the artwork than the amenities for the room. Had to call because the hot water wouldn't heat up. No coffee maker, phone, towels are small old and one wasn't cleaned well some sketchy people around no blow-dryer.

Not a good time.

No COFFEE..... no ICE MACHINE, No blankets for the bed, just a sheet and ultra thin bed spread. Needed another pillow, and manager brought me 2 more. VERY NICE. But for the money..... NO WAY AGAIN. Scott

I thought this would turn out to be a good stay however I was wrong. We got woken up at 7am by a loud knock the property manager asked us to move our car because it was blocking others in. It was not our car..the lady proceeded to knock on everyone else’s door instead Of taking the time to read our sheet that clearly said what type of car everyone had and which room they were located. I have to say this motel was crap.

My experience at this place was horrible checked in my room and it was never cleaned bed was dirty , used filthy towels in the restroom and so forth. I was called a liar by the managers wife she went on saying that we made the mess to make a complain which was impossible we had been in there for less than 5 minutes. Staff was very rude overall they talked crap about us in our face in another language Hindu Arabic or some other language .

No remote control for tv, have me a king bed instead of 2 double beds which I asked for. Gypsy family was playing cards all day and into the night In the parking lot leaving gambling chips in the parking lot and they blocked several parking spaces making parking even more limited, all while they loudly shouted at one another constantly at all hours.

Good for price/location

Booked the Executive King bed but upon check in it did not look like the photos of that specific room. However, for the price and location, it was a good size for my partner and I. Hotel is a mere 15 min drive away from Huntington Beach and there are many stores within walking distance of the hotel. The windows are locked shut so you can’t open them to air out the room/bathroom but there is an ac unit to cool it down. There is a $20 cash deposit required and the store next door does not offer cash back just a heads up. Overall would stay again!

They want $20 cash deposit at check in. I don’t carry cash that often so that was a little bit inconvenient. They should let us know ahead of time. It’s clean and nice for the price.

Good deal

Compared to all the other motels on Harbor blvd this motel has clean rooms for a decent price. Also, comfortable clean beds and a TV that works. Maybe better cable lol but for the price it is a good motel.

don't spend your money here.

This was a horrible stay. Room definitely needed updates and renovations. somewhat like picture posted.restroom had holes and cracks and the cauking needed to be redone. only cool thing about it was the uv painting on the ceiling. would not stay here again.

Poor cleanliness

The Mesa Hotel was an extremely unpleasant stay. The rooms were absolutely filthy. During a global pandemic, you would think that cleanliness would be a top priority. The shower was dirty with a used bar of soap inside. The wood floors were dusty. I found an open pack of condoms under the bed. Bed and bedsheets were in extremely poor condition. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone. Spend your $120 dollar’s elsewhere.

If I could attach the pics I have, no one would stay here even in a pinch. I’m not paranoid about Covid nor am I needing more than what I paid for, but this room is filthy. Floors turned my feet black within minutes. Thick layer of caked-on dust over microwave. Very obvious an attempt at renovating, but it was not ready for a guest because it had not been properly cleaned after. Dark footprint stain on white sheets on one bed, price-tag and pieces of paper when sheets were pulled back on the other. White paint on the starchy, thin bedcover. Spider and bugs in the dirty shower. No coffee machine. Dirty sink in kitchenette. Sound fun to sleep in? Wish me luck! Will be asking for a refund.
