"Our group of friends had a wonderful time during our stay here. The house had plenty of room for our group of four. We loved lounging with morning coffee on the decks and using the hot tub after a day of hiking. The house had everything we needed to cook our own meals and the fireplace was wonderful for nights indoors. It’s a great location for visiting Murphys and Lake Alpine. There was an issue with lighting in the living room (overhead bulbs out and a lamp not working) which weren’t fixable during our stay, but we appreciated the responsiveness from the hosts, who I suspect will take care of everything before the next guests’ arrival."

"Came here for three days. Spent zero time reviewing emails. Feels like a million miles away from civilization, even though everything you could need is literally five minutes away. Very good restaurants are in the adjacent shopping center. Drive up the hill to see incredible scenery. Beautiful trees. Highly recommended for anyone wanting an escape from work. Host is very responsive."

"House was quiet and clean. Pillows were pretty flat but overall the house Worked well for a family of 4. Driveway was a bit of doozy- you have to back out uphill at an angle. But great location by Big Trees Park and nice to eat on the patio after a long day. Laundry facilities and a family room "

"Great location for a quiet and relaxing getaway. I wish I could have stayed longer! While the property is a bit outdated, everything else more than makes up for it. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. "

"This is our second stay at this lovely Arnold cabin, and the title of “cozy” is quite accurate. The weather fared nice so it was not too hot (wouldn’t be anyways due to the shaded neighborhood). The proximity to hiking trail, lakes and the nearby store was extremely convenient. Hardware provided for cooking and cleaning (if ever needed) and the host in incredibly friendly and responsive. If this is your first cabin or first Vrbo renting, this is the best place to start with, in location, property and host. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay in the Arnold area. Whatever doubts you have, cast them aside because this is the only cabin you could ever need for a wonderful stay."

"We stayed over Memorial Day weekend and had a lovely stay. The house is comfortable and well-appointed. We spent many hours relaxing on the deck, enjoying the beautiful scenery. It was very quiet and relaxing. We used the grill and had fabulous meals enjoying the view. We hope to return for a longer stay!"

"My husband and I stayed for a holiday weekend with our small dog. The property is on a large lot and we appreciated the fenced backyard for our dog. We spent most of our time on the big deck when we were at the cabin (it gets sun in the afternoon, for tanning, but they had two giant umbrellas for shade). The hot tub was nice, it’s big and could accommodate jets for like 6 people. The bedrooms and bathrooms were updated— we loved the rain shower and heated floors. The garage was nicely converted to a game space, perfect for families. The garage did have a strong odor of dog urine(dog friendly place), but you can open the garage doors to air it out. We found the kitchen had everything we needed for our stay and there was plenty of storage if you are staying for a longer time. The location and neighborhood were nice and not far from the main road. The property management did a really nice job on their welcome binder with lots of recommendations for the area. Would love to stay again."

"It's a quiet cabin in the forest. You can see the green trees all around you. Cabin has many windows so it feels airy, and every window gives you a view of the trees at different angles, and that's exactly what we were looking for. It's a quiet neighborhood, with the sounds (and occasional visit through the property) of turkeys. For us living in Bay Area, this nature retreat was a beautiful getaway."
