Has a classic cabin feel. Our visit was perfectly timed. No snow at the home but after just a 40 minute drive we found a great spot to play in snow. The main floor and deck are nestled in the trees, a private tree house with the amenities of a comfortable home. Easy access to Calaveras Big Trees and various hiking trails in the Stanislaus National Forest. Equally easy access to wine tasting in Murphy’s. We enjoyed breakfast and dinner in the comfort of this A-Frame cabin nestled in the trees with the serenade of birds. A perfect family get-away. ##### Christine B. One small suggestion is to put some curtains up in the downstairs area where the 3rd bed is located. At night it's something that would have helped the person who slept downstairs be more comfortable overnight.
