"The inn is set back off the road, almost missed it! It is has a renovated lobby and check in area. Check in was fast and easy. We were on first floor so pulled around to the side right by our room. Overall, was clean and comfortable for a 1 night stay. The carpets and ceilings are older and do hold a little of that motel smell, a little smokey. It was quiet all night, but in the AM lots of trucks were dropping off metal at the yard next to us so if you’re a light sleeper. "

"Great location and very clean. Awesome shower pressure. Bed was nice and firm but pillows somewhat flat. Restaurant around the corner excellent. Was quiet until Friday rolled around. Guess that’s to be expected on the weekend. I def would stay there again. "

"The first place which is listed here we couldn’t stay in the room it had a real musty like smell it bothered my daughters asthma plus there were towels on the floor not sure if the room was clean but we were two hours early perhaps the room wasn’t finished yet. I went and spoke to the gentleman at the office he went above and beyond and found us a room at another location it was wonderful he was so helpful the place we got put in was so clean and right on the board walk the staff there was also super friendly and gave us 10 percent off at the food place on the corner which was delicious. The place we ended up staying in was Sand and surf inn north beach "

"We had an amazing time at the Berkeley. We were on our Honeymoon. The stuff couldn’t have been more professional and polite. Building was in great shape and its location was perfect for walking around Asbury Park. Will certainly stay there again! "

"We needed a spot to stay for a week day night after a full day at the beach. It was a littler further from the coast than others, but that might have helped with it being a quiet nice spot to sleep for the night. There were some small breakfast options and plenty of parking. A solid spot far enough away from the craziness, but close enough to get to."
