Panoramic Views of the Pristine Lake
9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (5)
"There were nine of us in our family group ranging in age from 4 to 63 years of age. All of us had a fantastic time. Swimming and water play were the highlights. We found the fact that the sun didn’t reach the west facing dock until noon a real plus. Afternoon and evening sun was wonderful. The upstairs area held a family of five easily. Lots of fans (no air conditioning) and beds. The host kindly left special treats for the kids as we had an 8th birthday to celebrate. It was an amazing family...

Breathtaking views from rustic cottage atop the Edge of Kennisis Lakes!
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (7)
"We spent 5 days over Christmas at the cottage and had a lovely time. Its charming and quirky, and the kids were thrilled with everything there was to explore. It’s definitely on the rustic side and possibly in need of some tlc here and there in the near future, but nothing to worry about at this stage. Dan was very responsive and friendly. I don’t get the impression he’s there all that often and I think it’s the kind of place that could do with an owner stay/assessment from time to time to make...

Lakefront cottage on Oxtongue Lake near Algonquin Park
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (5)
"Kids (and parents) had an amazing time. Everything we needed was on site. The availability of water “toys”…SUPs, kayaks, canoes….was amazing. The kids were a little disappointed that there was no beach for them (the online picture showed a beach); but this may have been due to higher water levels. We took them to a beach in Algonquin Park for a day to play. Overall a great stay at a very nice cottage. If we decide to VRBO in the area again we will definitely go back!!"

"The cabin was exactly as advertised. Communication with the host was superb. My husband and I stayed there for 8 nights in early May. A few things we really liked: - cozy indoor fireplace for cool rainy days - nice appliances including a dishwasher - thoughtful kitchen items like coffee, salt/pepper, sugar, oil - a big window and nice balcony to enjoy the view - comfortable sofas and good hot water - availability of kayaks and life jackets - close to Algonquin park for hiking The only minor...

Cozy--Lovely cottage - steps to Halls Lake - newly renovated
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (13)
"We very much enjoyed our stay at Bonnie's cottage. We could sit outside on the deck, in the yard or on the dock on a sunny day (or get out on the water) or sit in the screened-in porch on a rainy day. The cottage was very clean and well equipped. Bonnie and Jay were next door and stay out of our way, but could be called upon and responded quickly when needed. They were very kind and helpful hosts!"
