Atelier Playa Mujeres - Adults Only - All Inclusive

"Here’s my honest review of Atelier Playa Mujeres after staying there for about five or six days. Overall, I had a good experience, but there are a few things you should know before booking. The dinners were absolutely amazing and definitely one of the best parts of the hotel. However, I found the lunch options much more average. One day, I had short ribs from the bar near the Relaxing Pool, and afterwards, I got really sick and threw up several times. I can’t say for sure it was because of the food, so I don’t want to blame the hotel — I’m simply sharing my personal experience. The evening entertainment was good, but don’t expect anything extraordinary every night. The shows were enjoyable but fairly standard. The beach also wasn’t my favorite part. During our stay, there was quite a lot of seaweed, and the water wasn’t very clear. If fully enjoying the ocean is your main priority, just manage your expectations. One thing that surprised me was being told to change in the restroom before check-in. For a hotel at this price point, I don’t think that makes sense. We also paid for a late check-out until 4 PM, but our room wasn’t cleaned and we didn’t receive fresh towels. We called a couple of times, but no one came, and eventually had to find someone in the hallway and ask for towels. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, especially the dinners, but for the price, some details could definitely be handled better."

"our stay at the mondrian was my birthday getaway so i was very excited to celebrate in cancun. the staff was friendly & welcoming. the hotel is well maintained & clean. it is a gated community w/ security so we felt extremely safe. the shows at night were entertaining. breakfast was great. i wish there was a bit variety when it comes to the lunch menu since it was the same food served daily. dinner was a bit of a let down. when we booked, there were 4 restaurants advertised & when we got there, there was only 2 (japanese & mediterranean). for my actual bday we ended up going off the resort to celebrate bc we only had 2 cuisine options. we don’t eat mediterranean so most of our nights were spent at nikos, which thankfully the food was delicious. the temperature of the room was also a little issue as the lowest the ac would go was 70 and overall the room felt rather hot. the beach shuttle also runs every 30 min which is a long wait in my opinion for a car ride that is only 5-7 min away. i think the shuttle should run more often. overall we had a lovely & quiet stay"

"Amazing food and staff! Everything is incredibly clean and the restaurants offer great variety. Bring cash so you can tip the staff - everyone is lovely and works hard to ensure you have a pleasant stay. Will come back for sure!"

"Beautiful property and amenities. The staff was kind, helpful. Only downside was that every single employee was competing to make aggressive sales and even though it was all inclusive. We had to pay for an entire bottle of tequila instead of letting us get one shot."
