Wonderful location, great scenery and lovely staff. The pool is a good size and great after a busy day sightseeing. The onsite restaurant is also very good.

This is the best hotel we stayed in during our trip to China. The hotel is welcoming and helpful in planning tours around the area. Hotel staff is efficient and English is widely spoken. Really enjoyed the breakfast offerings especially the freshly squeezed juices which is included with your meal.
Hotel is nicely decorated with a bamboo theme throughout the facility. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Yangshuo.

Everything about this resort was exceptional. Our well-appointed, beautifully decorated rooms offered balconies with lovely views of the karst peaks and the Li river. The vista reminded me of a Tahitian lagoon, and in the morning when birds were singing it seemed like Paradise! Comfortable beds, good air conditioning and a quiet environment made for a restful stay. The excellent all-day restaurant offered us some of the best meals of our 22 day trip through China. Gorgeous views from the room, but that's because you're about 5km outside Yangshou; you need to rent a bike or scooter if you want to get around, hotel has them for a reasonable price. Really enjoyed my stay.

From manager to the staff. They are all welcoming. They let me feel at home away from home. My Yangshuo, Xing Ping and Guilin trip is very memorable.
Kudos to the cook, I enjoy the noodle breakfast-2 days is a row.
The driver Sam- show me around the area
Gloria- who make sure that my need is being attended
And to Little Fish- the manager for facilitating everything.
The accommodation is a traditional house- which I highly recommended to tourist to China.

The best area to stay in Yangshuo is the area around West Street (Xi Jie) for its convenience and access to local life.
West Street is the main pedestrian street in Yangshuo, known for its historic architecture, local eateries, and artisan shops. It's the central point for most activities and offers easy access to the Li River and various tour operators. The streets immediately surrounding West Street are bustling with activity from morning until late evening, providing a true flavour of Yangshuo.
For couples, staying near West Street offers the great blend of accessibility and local character. You'll be within walking distance of boat tours on the Li River, the evening light show, and a wide selection of restaurants and bars for a relaxed evening out. Many hotels in this area also offer balconies with views of the karst mountains.
Families travelling with older children will also find the area around West Street very convenient. It's easy to arrange excursions to nearby attractions like the countryside cycling routes or the caves directly from hotels here.
When is the best time to go to Yangshuo?
The best time to go to Yangshuo is during the spring (April to May) and autumn (September to October) months.
These periods offer the most pleasant weather for exploring the area's natural beauty. You'll find comfortable temperatures, typically ranging from 20 to 28 degrees Celsius, and less rainfall compared to the summer months. This makes it ideal for outdoor activities like cycling along the Yulong River or hiking up to viewpoints like Xianggong Mountain.
Couples looking for a romantic and scenic getaway will find these seasons particularly appealing. The landscape is lush and green, with the karst mountains often shrouded in a light mist in the mornings, creating a picturesque backdrop for boat trips on the Li River or exploring the local villages. Early autumn also brings clearer skies, superb for hot air balloon rides to see the expansive views.
Families travelling with children will also appreciate the mild weather, which allows for comfortable participation in activities such as bamboo rafting or visiting the local markets without the intensity of summer heat or the chill of winter.
Where can I find the best nightlife in Yangshuo?
Yangshuo has a focused nightlife, primarily centred around West Street.

Many of the venues offer live music, usually with local bands playing a mix of Chinese and Western pop songs. There are also several places with outdoor seating, good for people-watching.
