Not only that but they ensured the drivers took us to the right entry points and were clear about where to pick us up from. We were able to have a ‘tab’ and pay for all our food, trips and massages in one payment at checkout. They were able to take Visa and not just Alipay as was the case with other places we stayed. The building and garden are well designed and all the furniture and fittings have been carefully selected and are tasteful and attractive. The rural location means the views are spectacular but does mean it’s a 50 minute walk from town, but it is possible to get the free shuttle or arrange for a taxi. The food is good quality home cooked fare and there were plenty of vegetarian options and both western and Chinese food available.
