Absolutely everything was amazing about this place. From the staff who were always friendly, smiling, courteous and always on hand to assist you. The food which was absolutely amazing and the afternoon tea is definitely worth hanging around for. The accommodation (we stayed in the two-bedroom apartment) has clearly been tastefully and carefully designed in to be in keeping with the natural and local environment, whilst being modern. The Li River is a short walk from the residence and Xingping village is a sweaty 30 minute walk or they can hail you an electric ‘golf buggy’ to take you there for 20 Yuan. The latter is definitely an experience worth indulging in. There are bicycles you can ride for free through traditional farming villages. The staff are truly exceptional and conscientious, and the food delicious. The only thing we’d improve is to make the hotel a little more environmentally conscious - replacing the ton of plastic bottles with jugs in each room which could be filled up from a central water dispensary. Das Hotel eigene Restaurant ist sehr gut. Ein Wanderweg der am Fluss entlang führt ist in ca.5min zu Fuß zu erreichen. Hier kann man Bote mieten oder zu Fuß zu die Gegend erkunden.
