When is the best time to go to Xitang?

The best time to go to Xitang is during the spring or autumn months, specifically from March to May or September to November, when the weather is most agreeable. During these periods, the temperatures are mild and comfortable, making it ideal for exploring the ancient water town on foot or by boat. You'll avoid the intense heat and humidity of summer, as well as the colder, sometimes damp, conditions of winter. The crowds are also generally more manageable outside of major public holidays, allowing for a more relaxed and enjoyable visit. For those who appreciate photography, the soft light of spring and autumn often provides excellent conditions for capturing the beauty of Xitang's canals, old bridges, and traditional architecture.

Top Xitang Hotel Reviews

Xingle Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We were very very happy with our week stay at the hotel. It was very conveniently located and we ate a several nearby eateries. We really enjoyed all the ancient streets and shops--I bought lots of silk scarves, the best I have come across. Our room was very cozy and the bathroom and shower were really great. We would definitely recommend. We are from the USA and no problems with language."
