I loved the traditional architecture of this hotel which stands out from the rest. Ambience is very relaxing and fits in nicely with the traditional vibe of Suzhou, it has a lovely garden to stroll in and even interesting cultural artifacts on display around the corridors. Staff are very friendly and helpful, the room is also very clean, comfortable and spacious. But the taste of the food at breakfast and the noodle restaurant weren't the best.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Our room had a beautiful view, which made our stay even more enjoyable. The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our visit. Breakfast offered a good variety of choices, and we enjoyed it very much. The complimentary afternoon tea had only a few items, but it was still a lovely and unexpected surprise. Overall, we had a very pleasant experience and really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is a replica of an ancient Suzhou villa and garden. It is a huge resort and offers many fun facilities. We visited the Han dynasty clothing experience center which lends one guest one free hour of Han dynasty ancient clothing to try out. That was a lot of fun and we shot many pics in the ancient garden. The manager was so nice and generous and offered 2 guests in our party of the same service. I heartily recommend this hotel.

Staff were great and I enjoyed the history of Suzhou by the Manager and his knowledge is great. He gave a lot of exploration tips and I definitely need to go back Suzhou again to throughly enjoy the city
