The Internet is fantastic ... I could just carry on business as usual. The fitness center is good and very well maintained. The bar had a fantastic gin and tonic, and they even stayed open late for jetlagged me. I had a huge stack of student papers I needed to scan in, and they gladly did it for me. The English level was surprisingly good. Only two people couldn't handle my requests: the omlette chef (and I was able to finish in Chinese) and the poor guy I asked to scan my paper (I had no idea how to say "feed scanner" in Chinese). Room was big, clean, and had a fantastic view. My only complaints are that I wish they had regular water at breakfast and I couldn't find the bathroom light switch for a while. An excellent stay, despite a few initial issues. The staff were exceptionally accommodating and helpful and the room was truly lovely. The horizon lounge was comfortable though the buffet was aimed toward the Chinese clientele (quite understandably, as we were pretty much the one western family there) - and nice to have drinks available. The gym and pool was high specced and clean.
