An excellent stay, despite a few initial issues. The staff were exceptionally accommodating and helpful and the room was truly lovely. The horizon lounge was comfortable though the buffet was aimed toward the Chinese clientele (quite understandably, as we were pretty much the one western family there) - and nice to have drinks available. The gym and pool was high specced and clean. The hotel is up to the usual high standards of a Shangrila hotel. The location quite far from the tourist sites but we prioritized the quality of the rooms. Fortunately, it did not disappoint.
