"The house is exactly as described. Cozy and close to town. It is private, but not secluded. We were hoping for seclusion. On one side, you have a neighbor, and on the other a business yard. You are divided by a privacy fence, so not bad. Just not secluded. The house is CLEAN and the hot tub with the movie sceeen was awesome!"

"John was an amazing host and communicated promtply to any questions we had. The cabin was absolutely perfect for me and my wife for our getaway week. Off the beaten path a bit like we wanted and so very peaceful. All the little details in the cabin were a nice touch, and it had many essentials in case you forgot anything. "We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this very clean and cozy cabin. Downtown Blue Ridge is about 25 min away and we really enjoyed Harvest on Main, Blue Ridge Creamery and the Twisted Tomato. There are plenty of shops for home goods, mountain and fishing outfitters, and souvenir gift shops."

"Loved the modern rustic décor of the hotel and happy with our stay. The toilet/shower space within the closed door area seemed very small and not sure how larger people could navigate it (we're both average-sized). Location was good to get to downtown (train) and other Blue Ridge sights. Area leading to and around hotel could use some clean up (trash and trash dumping along the roads/entryway). Overall, a good stay but does require driving to eat out, sightsee, etc., as not really walkable."
