Secluded Cabin Overlooking Fontana Lake & Smoky Mtns NP
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (178)
"My husband and some friends of ours stayed for a long weekend and greatly enjoyed this home! It was very dog friendly but still very clean unlike some places we have gone to with our dog before. The host Robert was great with communication prior to our stay and posted very helpful check out instructions in his home that made everything very clear. The view was amazing and despite being more remote we had great internet access via WiFi."

AMAZING & COZY LOG CABIN IN WOODS
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (21)
"The cabin was very clean and well maintained. It is extremely quiet. Recommend taking your own books or activities if spending time in the cabin. We had a quiet relaxing time at the cabin. The property manager was very sweet and attentive. Thanks for a great stay."

Luxury Log Cabin, 4.5 Private Ac. Above Mtn Stream, Hot Tub & Wifi, Paved Dr.
10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (179)
"We stayed one week in mid-May. This was the most private, beautifully outfitted cabin we've ever booked. Owners were wonderful. The only negative is that the listing says it "overlooks" a noisy trout stream. It does not overlook the creek because the creek is down a steep completely foliaged (lots of poison ivy and unnavigable brush) drop-off and is totally inaccessible and not even visible. We were very disappointed about this; the listing also says that one can walk to the end of the driveway...

Fontana Lake cabin with large deck overlooking the mountains with private dock.
9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (164)
"Wonderful cabin. The view to the mountains and lake is breathtaking but now at least partially obscured by a cabin being built behind the property. That means you have a neighbor in view from the front porch and another from the back deck. That can be good or bad depending on what you are looking for. We were looking for seclusion so that was a bit of a surprise. Otherwise, a beautiful cabin and area."

Historic Tapoco Lodge
3.0 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (409)
"The Tapoco Lodge is absolutely beautiful and the staff was amazing. The cabin we stayed in felt like everything was antique but somehow still new. My only complaint was that Expedia allowed me to book it as a pet-friendly room when the actual room I chose wasn’t pet-friendly. The Tapoco honored the reservation anyway and took care of us. They were terrific. My wife is already asking if we can stay here again. "
