It was clean and cosy, with lovely touches such as a welcome basket and good quality bedding - my husband was especially pleased with the double ninja air fryer. The sunny walled garden was a delight to sit out in, with lovely garden furniture. Our host was also wonderful, with great communication. "Great stay 2 adults and a golden retriever. Garden ideal for dog. Comfy sofas and bed. Could do with bedside table each side in main bedroom and also plug sockets near bed for phones. Parking tight against house but managed to get a space daily apart from one occasion. We love area, sandringham, brancaster, old hi stand Tom, rose and crown in the village and thornham deli particularly good"

"We booked for a special occasion and the cottage was perfectly located to walk to our venue - Ely Cathedral. The cottage was lovely and clean with everything we needed. My only regret is that the weather prevented us from seeing the cottage in the warm sunshine. The owners were wonderfully helpful when we had a little hiccup with the hot water - coming over to help despite it being a Friday night. Thank you to them. "This is a delightful cottage, with a cosy sitting-room and then much larger than expected and extremely well-equipped kitchen/diner at the back. We didn’t have sitting out weather, but there is a small secluded garden at the back which would be lovely in summer - better than it appears on the Vrbo photos. Despite being on a road called High Street it is very quiet. A bonus is the well above-average quality selection of books and DVDs available."

"Very quiet and low lit area - perfect for stargazing. No WiFi so the kids stayed off their devices and enjoyed watching the chickens roam around freely. My little boy even got to help feed some which he thought was brilliant. Mary and her husband are top class hosts! Would definitely recomendthis place to anyone who wants a quiet rural getaway. "
