"This hotel is without doubt “budget”. It’s dated and tatty and in the middle of nowhere, but the bed was comfy and was fine for a base for a couple of nights as I was working in Cambridge. The added bonus of having a basic continental breakfast was appreciated. Parking on site too. If it’s prices rise much more, it wouldn’t be worth it but for a cheap hotel it’s a decent enough base."

"Great restaurant and good location in a quiet neighborhood near Cambridge. The staff was very accommodating and even kept the kitchen open late to provide us dinner upon our late arrival. Rooms are small but well appointed & good value for the price. The bed size was advertised as king but it was a double which is small for us. "I Stayed in a lovely shepherds hut called bluebell which was lovely and quaint inside. Plates, glasses, cutlery, cups and kettle are provided. There is a small general kitchen area with kettle, toaster, microwave and hotplate. You will need to bring your own pans and there is a fire area provided on which you can cook food too. There was something of interest with an antique shop in the yard too ..not for someone looking for a modern hotel though walking distance to a nice village pub with good food ..highly recommend this place "

"I stayed in a single en-suite, which was a surprisingly good size, including the shower. The decor was a bit dated, but overall quite clean, all the essentials and complimentary coffee and water which was great. My only thing to riase and of course I knew this when booking was the noise from the pub below. "The host checked before my arrival what time I'd be booking in. Unfortunately I was early so they were out but Alison was very accomodating when I said I'd be back around 10pm. Place was lovely and room was very comfortable with an array of items on the room to make my stay more comfortable. Overall would highly recommend but would also advise to close your windows before bed as the crows and peacocks woke me up at 5am!"

"Good base for the week. Did have a couple of times people trying to get in as they thought it was part of the raptor foundation so had to have the door locked all the time. Walls are very thin so could hear the people next door snoring all night. There is a sign up in the bath room saying after 5days you get fresh linen and towels but this didnt happen, i stayed for 7nights.
