Charming, well-maintained house just 5 mins from the train station. Breakfast was delicious

The Puddle Duck was one of THE BEST places we have ever stayed in! When we arrived, all we could smell were the roses, coming from the incredibly beautiful garden. The property is absolute perfection! We arrived a few hours earlier than planned, but the owner took us right up to our room. It was spotless, spacious and beautifully decorated. The attention to detail here is unlike most other places. Nothing has been missed and everything has been tailored to provide you with a perfect stay....

location is excellent, parking is space availability. cottage is so cozy and pretty and comfortable.

The staff at the rum doodle are outstanding!!! The rooms are incredibly clean the breakfast is also amazing. What really sets it apart however is the amazing service from the staff.

Jericho's was a wonderful, quiet and conveniently located guesthouse. The hosts were attentive and helpful and the breakfast was delicious! Highly recommend!

Jonathan was very welcoming. The lounge was a nice place to hang out with friends. Our bed was comfortable and the coffee service in the room went above the ordinary. Breakfast was delicious - make sure to order the prunes they’re amazing!

Sparkling clean, excellent breakfast, comfy bed, peaceful nights, and very accommodating hosts who packed part of our breakfast to take out on the day our our 8 hour tour. Highly recommended!

Excellent service, clean and conformable rooms. Great breakfast. Host quick responsive.

The property was more than you can ask for.

so close to one part of 'downtown' for dining options; wonderful staff; superb breakfasts

Have been here once a year for a getaway, and always look forward to the great staff, meals and the warm cozy pub.

Fantastic stay. Paula and Richard were very friendly and accommodating. Food on offer was delicious.

This is a truly amazing hotel, run by fantastic staff in an old fashioned, pampering style. From the moment you arrive, you are treated like royalty. The food is spectacular in every way. The hotel is a little off the beaten track, in the countryside close to Windermere. This is a good thing if you want total peace and relaxation. If you want to be in the centre of the tourist action in town, this is not the place for you. It's worth every penny!
