« The Retreat was the perfect place to stay in Windermere. It was stocked with everything I needed from an umbrella to salt, pepper and vegetable oil for cooking. The location was ideal. It was close to the train station and the Main Street. It was very quiet because it was on a little side street. I highly recommend it. »

So easy to walk into Bowness , with a good range of shops and eateries and boat trips to other attractions that we had no use for car during our 4 day stay.
