The name of the resort says it all, it's truly an escape. If you're looking to disconnect, relax, and do absolutely nothing while enjoying beautiful views, this is the perfect place. The scenery is stunning, the food is excellent, and the staff are incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive. That said, if you're looking for a resort with lots of activities or amenities that are easily accessible on-site, this may not be the best fit. This resort is more about peace, tranquility, and unwinding than constant entertainment. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, relaxing getaway.

Everything about this resort was excellent. The staff was great and very attentive. Food was good. I will be returning.

There was a major seaweed issue, which I know is not the property’s fault, but we had to move rooms because it was so bad and the smell was so bad. The staff was great in upgrading us for free to better rooms, I just wish we would have known because then we would’ve changed properties. We also didn’t know that they were doing free shuttles to better beaches, or we would have joined in on that. Instead, the only thing we could do was hang out by the pool. Tori Ann was great in setting us up on expeditions. The staff was amazing and so friendly, the food was so so. Most of the time it was very dry. We were just expecting very blue and sandy beaches and we’re disappointed that we didn’t get to enjoy that and had to spend a lot of money for the excursions to actually go to blue water and sandy beaches. Even though the staff more than made up for it, it wasn’t what we had hoped for do the amount of money we spent.

It was off season and half restaurants were not open so had to eat at the buffet all time and then sit out in the wind were food was cold in one minute They were working on the buildings and the floor in our room had buckles in it The beds are hard no towels at pool if you don’t go by 9 am to get one The entertainment is so so one band was a no show then they had DJ All the stairs around there had boards sticking up with nails exposed and some were loose The beach had red flag every day the wind blows directly into it so swimming was a little rough For my taste buds food was real bland flavored But was very few people there No drink service you go get your own if you want one For a all inclusive resort I give it a 1
