We highly recommend a ski instructor from Whistler Ski School if you are a beginner. An incredible way to really explore the Mountain. We learned so much and our ski guide was excellent - Peter W. Pure Bread is a must do for breakfast.

Can be lots of fun and something for everyone from art museum visits to all day ski adventures. Some free activities like hiking but overall it’s definitely a tourist town which means spending lots of money if you want to get the full experience.

The rain can put a damper on things but that's not Whistler's fault! We took nice walks around the village admiring the lights and for December it's still pretty decent weather. Taboganning (free rentals) and skating for kids is a nice touch.
