The apartment is within walking distance of a variety of restaurants, stores, and parks, as well as Georgetown University, George Washington University, The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, and the Potomac River waterfront.
A quick stroll to the beautiful Dumbarton Oaks is a nearby historic estate and museum with well maintained gardens and majestic trees. It’s a hidden gem in the middle of Georgetown.

The Neighborhood:
Georgetown has amazing shopping, wonderful restaurants and so much history. Imagine a living museum, complimented with a small college town feel and you have Georgetown DC.
Reminiscent of old Europe, Georgetown is long considered Washington’s most distinguished neighborhood. Historic Dumbarton Oaks—and gorgeous Montrose Park, with its trails and tennis courts—are just steps from your front door. The neighborhood is peppered with the homes of Washington’s power brokers, alongside scores of shops, boutiques, bars and restaurants.
There is simply no visit to the nation’s capital like one that has its home base in Georgetown.
Stroll down the canal and experience the curious feeling of living amongst history while shopping for the future..
Getting Around:
‘Uber’s’ and taxis abound in Washington, and bus stops within a block of the home offer an easy way to get around.
There are also two subway stops (Dupont Circle on the red line and Foggy Bottom on the green and orange line) within a 30-minute walk from the apartment. There is a Capital Bikeshare at the corner of Wisconsin and O st, 5 minutes on foot from the home.
The DC Circulator bus runs (free at the moment!) every 10 mins, and can take you directly to Union Station (DC’s epicenter of the major sights.) The stop is at the corner of Wisconsin Ave NW & N St NW, and is an 8 minute stroll from the home.

Six from 11 to 70 years old stayed at this well- appointed home in nice Georgetown neighborhood. Comfortable beds, nice kitchen and bathrooms. Easy walk to many restaurants, stores and bus/Metro. Highly recommend!
This place was beautiful and so close to everything. We enjoyed exploring Georgetown and there was a stop very close for the circulator bus to get to downtown as well. This was a great place to just relax as well and the garden was so peaceful.
House was very clean and comfortable. Area was very quiet with a variety of restaurants to get to that were relatively close. Kitchen amenities were very nice.
Rented this property for a girls weekend and couldn’t have been more pleased. The host communicated often and checked in on us throughout the stay. The location in Georgetown is ideal and the home was modern, clean, and well appointed.
We had a great time in Georgetown over spring break. The property is in a perfect location and so nice to have space for the family to spread out at night. We had a few questions that popped up during our stay, and owner was always very responsive and helpful.
Highly recommend this property.
We enjoyed our stay in this well-appointed home. It was nice that the host provided extra toiletries and paper products! I highly recommend this location for enjoying shops and restaurants in Georgetown. Thanks for making our stay so special.
We very much enjoyed our stay (2 adults and 3 teens). Easy walk to anywhere in Georgetown, easy Uber to the National Mall or out to Dulles. House was very nicely appointed and spotless. Exactly like the pictures. Management service was fast to respond and gave us all the info we needed. Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful stay recently at this property. Great location, walked everywhere. Beautiful home, well appointed, comfortable beds, clean and the water pressure in the showers kept us in there a bit longer, it was amazing.
Very attentive rental staff, every concern was answered immediately. We had the wrong coffee pods for the Nespresso machine and they delivered the correct ones within a few hours along with a drip coffee maker, filters and ground coffee.
Would definitely stay here again when visiting Georgetown
My family and I spent a wonderful weekend in DC. Between my mother and my kids our ages ranged from 20-93. The townhouse was lovely, very comfortable and well stocked and perfect for our needs. Michelle was terrific, answering all questions promptly, and checking to see if we needed anything. The Georgetown location was great. The house is on a charming street within easy walking distance to restaurants and shops. We look forward to a repeat visit.
The area is charming and the town home sunlit, elegant, clean and comfortable. The only downside was parking. Not being urban dwellers, we did not realize how difficult it would be not to have designated parking and, in addition, having to move our friends car every two hours from 7 am to 9 pm. Two of us are not good walkers, so exploration on foot - although certainly possible for many travelers - was not an option. Otherwise a perfect rental.
We really enjoyed a few days between Christmas and New Year's Day at this property. The house was clean and well stocked and pictures were accurate. It was cold while we were there but the outside area looked like a perfect place to relax in the evenings during warmer weather. The house was in a perfect location to easily access the shopping and dining Georgetown has to offer. There is no parking spot included but we were able to easily find street parking as needed during the day or overnight and there are several garages a short walk away for when we needed to keep the car in one place for longer than 2 hours (street parking in limited to 2 hours until 9pm each evening). It added a little extra cost but was not anything outrageously expensive. Also important to note that the 3rd bedroom is in a basement type apartment - it's accessible through the main house (you don't have to go through a separate entrance) but if you were traveling with all small children, might be a bit of logistical challenge. Our older children are teens so it was a perfect space for them to share with their lounge area and TV, bathroom and bedroom. Our soon is headed to Georgetown University next fall and we will definitely consider renting again when traveling as an entire family!
Ideal location in a great part of Washington DC. We are a family of 4 - we had plenty of space in this well appointed property located a short stroll from the centre of town. The basement is a self contained unit and was very much appreciated by our 17 year old son!Overall it was a great stay. One niggle: the online check-in is cumbersome. Three forms of picture id were required and it didn’t work despite several attempts. The manager’s primary platform is not VRBO and this added time - links did not work and it was more complicated than it needed to be. Mentioning this only because the pricing is at the premium end of the market.
