The location was great, and given the proximity to what I was interested in visiting, the rates were reasonable. I did not park a vehicle, however.

I did not expect a lot to begin with as I had to unfortunately travel during this difficult Covid time. However the room was way too small #512 and the the space between end of bed and TV was too narrow to even open the fridge or drawers fully. The staff was very nice however and I probably should have asked for a different room set up - I’m sure they would have been obliging but I did not want to bother. They did provide breakfast still which was nicely wrapped up and in a bag. The place is just quite rundown overall and smells old - carpets in bad condition. Due to the current time we are in housekeeping is not done on a daily basis which is understandable. I was still able to get towels at the front desk. I had a three day stay and housekeeping came once which was fine. I cleaned up and threw out the garbage. You get what you pay for and I needed to go to DC in a hurry as my usual hotels were closed (Fairfax at Embassy Row). There was a dead water bug on the inside of the front entrance at bottom of stairs. Also don’t know if this is usual for them but I felt that the hotel seemed to be a “half way house” or “ short stay” hotel. I would not stay here again. However, all staff was nice - its not their fault.

The rooms were small, but clean. The bed was very comfortable. The main entrance required walking up a half flight of stairs, which was inconvenient with luggage. Breakfast was good, but they ran out of some items that were not replenished in a timely manner. Overall, though, this is a very good hotel in a great location for a very reasonable price.
