During the summer season, visit the beach bar and grill, sandwich shop, convenience store, and gift shops. Wake up every single day to the unmistakable sound of the crashing waves at this classic beachfront condo! It has everything you and your guests could ever need to spend a carefree and restful vacation. It features a well-equipped kitchen with all the essentials, a newly installed HVAC unit, a private balcony with terrific beach views, on-site washer/dryer for your laundry needs, comfortable and inviting furniture, and TV with cable. Things to Know Check-in time: 4:00 p.m. Check-out time: 10:00 a.m. All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises. Complimentary building-provided WiFi is a courtesy and not guaranteed. The indoor pool and large outdoor pool will not accommodate children in diapers. There is an outdoor kiddie pool provided for children in diapers. Per building management, cannabis is prohibited everywhere on the Golden Sands grounds. Ocean City has adopted a noise control ordinance that makes it unlawful to cause or permit noise levels which exceed those established by the Department of the Environment of the State of Maryland (COMAR 26.02.03.02) or are in violation of Chapter 30, Article V of the Town Code. It shall be a violation of this agreement and grounds for eviction under Maryland law if these noise levels are exceeded as a result of activity on this property. Ocean City has other noise ordinances, which are criminal offenses if violated. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 1 vehicle. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The unit itself is dated as others mentioned but we really only needed it as a changing/sleeping space. Carpet stained and screen door to patio was not on its track upon arrival. The dryer was broken upon arrival as well which we weren't notified of and I was a little upset with Vacasa because not only did they not address the issue, they completely ghosted us and quit responding, so they seem to not really care about any issues you have. The carpet in the room needs replaced, there are a lot of stains. There were also two DVD players advertised in the room, neither one of them worked. Overall it was a fair stay. Note on sofa bed, "do not pull bed out", note on washer "needs service", it did not work. Light above stove and toaster do not work, Vertical blinds do not move, slats missing, Sliding door extremely difficult to open. Shower has mold and needs to be re-caulked. Someone stuck toilet paper iin the gaps of caulking. Bathroom heat lamp control switch hanging from wall, wires exposed. Toilet needs to be flushed twice most of the time to operate correctly. Fully stocked kitchen has 2 soup spoons and 4 forks. I contacted Vacasa more than once, not one reply via phone, text, or email. They said management would call. I don't expect to be contacted. They are too large a company to have any personal interaction. Loved when I was dealing with CBVacations for 20+ years, they were always professional and wonderful to deal with. We have been coming to the Golden Sands twice a year for many years. Never had an issue, love the resort. I will rent from anyone else other than Vacasa. ##### KAROL S. Aug 3, 2022 #### Much better than expected I was late in booking our trip for a dance competition. With this room still available, I was worried on the condition and why no one else booked it. This condo was perfect for us. It was just myself, husband and daughter. We did not feel crowded at all even with all our beach and dance stuff. The kitchen was well stocked even with coffee filters. This room is on the 5th floor, so not too high for those who do not like heights but high enough to look out into the ocean. We enjoyed the music from the Tiki Bar on Wednesday night. If we get into the competition again next year, I will be happy to book here. only downside I have to mention is for the light sleepers.
