« The only reason that I didn't give them four stars is that there was so much light on the front of the building that you could not sit on the chairs and see any stars. I assumed that a place called dark skies would have lights that are motion sensored or more dim so that you could take in the night sky, so we walked about a block down the road to see the stars. « It was a really nice place. In our case there was no one else there so we were able to hang out in the main downstairs area which was pretty nice. The staff we needed help from were very responsive as well. I honestly would recommend staying here as the views from the front porch at night and during sunset are amazing! »

« Mountain Goat Lodge is an absolute GEM of a bed and breakfast! Located at the base of the Sawatch Mountain Range, this charming inn is home to a small herd of friendly goats, a seriously fantastic breakfast spread and the absolutely most comfortable beds. « We had high hopes for our stay at the Salida Inn and Monarch Suites, but unfortunately the experience fell short in several areas.
