"The add did not represent the reality of the house. There was no furniture. We were not allowed to use master bedroom with ensuite, the bedrooms had mattress cover and pillows with cases. A duvet with no covering. Nothing in kitchen to prepare a meal or eat off of. We had a kitchen table and 4 chairs, a single bed in the living room only. "This clean and cozy home is oozing small town charm! It has a great location on a quiet street, brightly lit within with large windows, firm comfortable bed and luxurious soft towels. It contained everything we needed to prepare our dinner and have a great weekend getaway. Communication with the owner was easy and prompt and he was very attentive. I would highly recommend this property and will stay again when I'm in the area."

"I don’t mean to be too harsh or rude but while I was there the only thing I could confidently say is that it was extremely close to a breakfast spot. When I checked in I was happy with the staff and the owner/manager. He was very nice and friendly but when I went into my room it appeared clean. There were stains on the pillows and the toilet didn’t work. I noticed a couple stains on the towels and the bathtub had a stain from the old mat that used to be there. There were a couple bugs inside the room as well. The picture shown advertised a couch which was not there but on the bright side I do believe that they genuinely care and there is room for improvement."

"Danby House is a very inviting bed and breakfast. It is extremely clean - zero dust, beds made to perfection, you feel like you are in an expensive hotel, bathrooms clean and shiny with soaps and towel, etc. The rooms are exactly as the photos describe/show online. I have stayed more than once and it is my go to when I'm in the area. Julia is very helpful and she is there to greet guests at the door, answer any questions they might have and to offer to prepare breakfast for them in the morning. I have not had the opportunity to enjoy the breakfast, and I can share that is smells delicious! Danby House is located on a quiet street and there is ample parking that is easily accessible. It is a 10/10."

"What a beautiful place! It was just as nice in person as the pictures suggest! Sooooo nice to have morning coffee over looking the lake from the dock!Very clean, and nice little touches like complimentary coffee station setup, fire wood, very nice t.v. and living room area, made us feel very welcome!"
